Astralis move past CLG comfortably 16-9 on Overpass, top group C and move on to MLG Columbus quarter-finals. Playing Overpass as Counter-Terrorists, CLG got off to a flying 3-0 start following doubles from Josh "jdm64" Marzano and Stephen "reltuC" Cutler in the pistol round, as well as two anti-ecos. A clean B execute gave Astralis one round, but their economy got ripped to pieces when they lost the following round at the hands of James "hazed" Cobb's triple with a fiveseven. After two more anti-ecos the Danes eventually started picking up with a couple of B executes, as well as a saved 1-on-3 attempt from Tarik "tarik" Celik. After three more successful attacks by Astralis, CLG put up two nearly clean rounds for an 8-7 halftime score. The score was tied up when the Danes won the second pistol round, and once more when hazed's triple gave CLG the first gunround at 9-9. From there on however it was all Astralis, who powered to a 16-9 victory with comfortable rounds throughout the remainder of the match. MLG Columbus 2016Best of 1
